Background
Doug worked as a biologist, a research tech, and a product manager, with a background at Fisher Scientific, and learned along the way that the best people to help a scientist find the solution they need are other scientists.
With over 25 years of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) experience, Doug has implemented every type of LIMS imaginable throughout his career as a scientist, product manager, and consultant. Doug is deeply knowledgeable in computing infrastructures and scientific research across a wide variety of industries (materials, chemical, pharma, veterinary, etc.) and has an uncanny knack for leading technical teams to deliver innovative solutions. A recombinant genetics scientist by training, Doug has lived in laboratories his entire career. He excels at understanding complex needs and workflows to deliver clear and efficient laboratory solutions. Driven by a customer first mentality, he is adaptable and passionate about elevating lab standards and fostering collaboration.
